Privacy Policy

We treat the information you share with us the same way we treat your home — carefully, and with respect. Here is exactly what we collect, why we collect it, and the control you have over it.

About this policy

Davis Sanders Homes respects your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, hold, use and disclose personal information, and how we handle it in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).

It applies to everyone who contacts us, visits a display home, registers for information, works with us on a build, or uses this website.

What we collect

We only collect information we genuinely need to answer your enquiry and deliver your project. That usually includes:

  • Your name, email address, phone number and postal address
  • Details about your block — location, size, orientation and title status
  • The home design, range, budget and timeframe you are considering
  • Information needed during a build, such as selections, variations, site details and correspondence
  • Financial or identity details where they are required for a contract, deposit or finance referral
  • Website data such as pages viewed, device type and referral source, collected through cookies and analytics tools

How we collect it

We collect most information directly from you — through enquiry and download forms on this website, display home registrations, phone calls, emails, appointments at our Home Selection Studio, and during the build itself.

Sometimes we receive information from third parties, such as land developers, real estate agents, referral partners, brokers or your consultants. Where that happens, we take reasonable steps to let you know.

How we use it

We use your personal information to:

  • Respond to enquiries and send the information you have asked for
  • Prepare quotes, tenders, plans, contracts and variations
  • Manage your build from site start through to handover and warranty
  • Meet our obligations under building, contractual, tax and workplace laws
  • Improve our designs, inclusions, website and customer experience
  • Send news, new releases, display home invitations and offers — you can opt out at any time

Who we share it with

We share information only where it is needed to deliver your project or run our business — for example with our trades and suppliers, building consultants, certifiers and councils, finance and insurance partners, and IT or marketing providers that operate our systems on our behalf.

We require those parties to protect your information and use it only for the purpose we provided it. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not disclose it overseas except where a cloud or software provider stores data outside Australia under equivalent protections.

Direct marketing

If you have enquired with us or opted in, we may send you emails or SMS about new home designs, display homes, land releases and events. Every message includes an unsubscribe option, and you can also opt out by emailing us. Opting out of marketing does not affect communication about an active build.

Cookies and website analytics

This website uses cookies and similar technologies to remember your preferences, measure how pages perform and improve the experience. We use analytics and advertising tools, including Google services, which may set their own cookies.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some parts of the site may not work as intended if you do.

Storage and security

Your information is stored in secure systems with access limited to team members who need it to do their job. We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect it from misuse, interference, loss and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure.

We keep information only as long as we need it for the purpose it was collected, or as required by law — building records, for example, must be retained for set periods. When it is no longer needed, we securely destroy or de-identify it.

Access and corrections

You can ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it, by emailing albury@davissandershomes.com.au or calling 1300 781 816. We will respond within a reasonable period and will let you know if we need to verify your identity first.

If we cannot give you access or make a correction, we will explain why in writing.

Complaints

If you believe we have mishandled your personal information, contact us at albury@davissandershomes.com.au or 21 Bennu Circuit, Albury NSW 2640 and we will investigate and respond. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au or on 1300 363 992.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or the law. The current version will always be published on this page with the date it was last updated.
